Architecture Design
Smart architecture combines client needs, smart technology and efficient design
Bioclimatic architecture
Building designs that take into account climate and environmental conditions to help achieve optimal thermal comfort inside. It deals with design and architectural elements, avoiding complete dependence on mechanical systems, which are regarded as support.
Environmental Sustainability
The goals of sustainable construction are to reduce the industry’s impact on the environment. Sustainable construction methods include:
- using renewable and recyclable resources;
- reducing energy consumption and waste;
- creating a healthy, environmentally-friendly environment;
- protecting the natural environment.
What is thermal comfort?
That condition of mind which expresses satisfaction with the thermal environment and is assessed by subjective evaluation”. THERMAL COMFORT according to the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (Ashrae).
The THERMAL COMFORT is experienced via a number of conscious interactions between three personal and environment factors:
- Physiological : the way our bodies work and interact with our environment;
- Physical : the main parameters of the environment around us (air temperature, air humidity, air movement, room surface temperature);
- Socio Psychological: the way we feel as a whole (for example, if we are tired, stressed, happy…) and the kind of social environment we live in.
Do you often feel more comfort outside of your house, rather than inside?
Bioclimatic design aiming at the construction of buildings that are in harmony with the natural surroundings and local climate, ensuring conditions of thermal comfort inside.
